The Nevada Union Lady Miners tennis team had another exciting home match Monday, this time against the Twelve Bridges Raging Rhinos, ending with a winning score of 5-3-1!

The first win of the day was held by #3 singles player Sadie Anderson, finishing 6-3, 6-1. #2 singles player Kaylee Lunsford followed suit with a score of 2-6, 6-4, 6-0, and #5 singles Lola Sorani, who ended at 6-4, 6-2.

The Lady Miners’ doubles teams had a fun day, with #1 doubles duo Cambelle Nunnink and Sasha Spackman defeating their opponents 6-3, 6-2. #3 doubles team Aidynn Salter and Emma Schwartz finished quickly with a score of 6-3, 6-1. #2 doubles team Kiley Hart and Alexis Keating had a rare finish in a tie at 7-5, 5-7.

The Lady Miners are now at an overall league play score of 5-3, fourth in the league. The next home game is Tuesday, October 8, against Del Campo, and it is sure to be an exciting match. Make sure to come out and support our Lady Miners!
