CHANGE TO APPROVED BATS FOR SOFTBALL (posted on April 9)
The Louisville Slugger models FPC305 Catalyst (-8), SB304 and SB34 Genesis are no longer approved bats for softball. To view the list of all ASA certified bats, please visit the NFHS website.
CRYSTAL CREAMERY ANNOUNCES UPCOMING PLANS (posted on January 28)
On behalf of the nearly 1,000 Crystal Creamery employees and their families, I want to take this opportunity to introduce our company as a new sponsor of the California Interscholastic Federation’s Sac-Joaquin Section and share our plans for the coming year.

Due to attempted mail theft, the Section office will no longer be receiving mail at our physical location. Our new mailing address will be PO Box 289, Lodi, CA 95241-0289.
MODEL COACH AWARD WINNERS (posted on December 6)
The Sac-Joaquin Section is pleased to announce its six Model Coach winners for the 2012-13 school year. They are: Kingsley Claudy (Monterey Trail), Debbie Clemens (Pitman), Mark Miller (Linden), Michael Morris (Rio Linda), Jana Osgood (Downey) and Jill Tooker (Del Oro). Morris and Osgood will be honored at a state championship event. All six coaches will receive Section lifetime passes. For the full press release, please click here.

SAC-JOAQUIN SECTION NETWORK LAUNCHED (posted on August 15)
The Sac-Joaquin Section is pleased to announce a partnership with PlayOn! Sports and the launch of the Sac-Joaquin Section network. The network provides live and on-demand online broadcasts of all of the Section’s championship events for free. The Section web portal, which includes several championship events from the 2011-12 season, can be found at www.cifsacjoaquin.tv. To see the press release, click here.

THINGS TO REMEMBER (posted on July 1)
Transfer Eligibility Paperwork: The new school administration should verify that all paperwork is complete before mailing it to the Section office. Only Form 206 should be faxed to the Section office (do not send the original in the mail also); all other transfer eligibility paperwork must be mailed. It is suggested that a photocopy is kept on file by your school.
Games Wanted Postings: These requests must be submitted by an Athletic Director or a Head Coach only. Please remember to submit a Game Filled form once your game/tournament is filled, to keep the listings as current as possible.
Job Opening Postings: This service is provided to Sac-Joaquin Section member schools only and must be for the positon of an Athletic Director or a Head Varsity Coach.
